Last Thursday, November 15, 2007, was a great and wonderful night to me because we, the Sirius class, visited the ship M/V Strait Success in Batangas Port. Here, I will summarized the story on my own words. It was a hard and tiring trip to us but it was all gone when we see the ship. We are divided in to two groups for us not be confused in determining the parts of the vessel. The first group goes up to the bridge while we are going down to the main engine to see the inside of it and to be familiarized too. After familiarizing on the main engine, we went up to the bridge while the other group went to the engine. Our professor Sir. Gines showed us how to get the tide and plot it on the charts so the next time we visit again, we can now plot on the chart and compute the tide on ourselves. After the long session night on the ship, Sir. Gines told a few words to us and remember it always, “just be patience and do what is assign task to you”.
This night was a nice night to me because I’ve learned a lot.
That’s all and thanks for reading!
